Join the team behind the Around the World Cultural Food Festival and help create an unforgettable day of culture, community, and connection.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new people, gain hands-on event experience, give back to your community, and experience the festival from behind the scenes.

Volunteer Shifts & Benefits

Volunteer shifts are available in 3-, 6-, and 8-hour segments and may take place before, during, or after the festival. Our Volunteer Coordinator will work with your availability to create a workable schedule.

Volunteers receive water throughout their shift and snacks after completing their shift. Volunteers who work a double shift will also receive food tickets to enjoy at participating festival food vendors afterward.

Students may request verification of community service hours. Please note that some volunteer positions may require moderate lifting of up to 25 lbs.

When you’re not on duty, you’re free to enjoy the festival as an attendee!

What You Need to Know

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
• Volunteers under 18 require parent or guardian permission and cannot volunteer in the Beer Garden or any area involving alcohol.
• Roles and shifts are assigned based on festival needs and volunteer availability.
• Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
• Students may receive verification of community service hours.
• Volunteers who complete their assigned shifts receive festival food tickets to enjoy afterward.
• When your shift is over, the festival is yours to enjoy!
